Senior Care Assistant
Hours: 1 x 36 hours per week night shift at Picktree Court, weekends included
Part time opportunities also available for 24 hours / 2 nights per week
Salary: £9.96 per hour with NVQ3
(£9.13 per hour with NVQ3 – all breaks fully paid)
You will provide nursing care, comfort, and companionship to the highest standards for elderly residents and be part of the Premier Care Homes Group. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for the effective running of the floor. A caring nature and a genuine interest in helping others is essential. Must be able to work using their own initiative without supervision over a 7 day rota. Previous senior care experience is preferable. NVQ3 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential.
Hours: 1 x 30 hours per week day shift at Picktree Court, weekends included
1 x 16 – 20 hours per week day shift at Picktree Court, weekends included
1 x 16 – 20 hours per week day shift at Durham House, weekends included
1 x 22 or 33 hours per week night shift at Picktree Court, weekends included
Salary: £8.41 per hour with NVQ2
You will provide nursing care, comfort, and companionship to the highest standards for elderly residents. An NVQ2 or NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or medication training is desirable. Duties will include assisting with personal care for the elderly, helping with daily bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and other care duties as required.
Hours: 20 hours per week, weekends included at Picktree Court
Salary: £8.21 per hour
The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of cleaning across all three floors within the care home. Previous experience is preferred but not essential. Some knowledge of infection control is needed. Training will be provided.
Hours: 1 x 18 hours per week, 1 x 30 hours per week
Salary: £8.21 per hour
You will be assisting the Cook to prepare balanced, nutritious meals within a controlled hygienic environment. Your responsibilities also include serving meals to the residents, collection of cutlery and crockery and the adequate cleaning of the kitchen.
The successful candidate must be available to work over a 7 day rota. A good knowledge of food hygiene is desirable, along with a positive attitude and desire to deliver the best possible service to the residents in our care. Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential.
Maintenance Engineer / Handyman
Hours: 40 hours per week over a 7 day period
Applicants must be able to carry out general mechanical and electrical maintenance as required around the Home. Other duties will include painting, decorating, gardening and general errands. Applicants must hold a valid, clean driving license. A relevant qualification is preferable.
